Naseeruddin Shah says coming to Pakistan is like ‘homecoming’

Veteran Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah, who is currently on a seven-day visit to Pakistan, said ‘it feels like a homecoming”. The legendary star, who is widely revered in the neighbouring country, arrived in Lahore with three fellow actors to act in a play for the Faiz Foundation. He said, "We will do two shows of our drama based on Ismat Chughtai's stories for Faiz Foundation. These shows will be staged on December 1 and 2 at the Alhamra centre," The Express Tribune quoted Shah, as saying.

Shah added, “The love I get here, I do not have the words to describe that. I don't feel scared at all here. It feels like...like I have come back home.”
