No break for Varun Dhawan

Among his contemporaries, he is, perhaps, the busiest actor, going by the number of films he’s doing. But things aren’t all rosy for Varun Dhawan. Because of his packed schedule, the actor has not been able to take a break in a long time, and he envies those who have the time to go on vacations.

“A lot of people have been asking me to take a break. When I read about other actors who are doing so, even I tell myself, ‘I wish I could take a holiday.’ I am jealous of people taking such breaks (smiles). But my other side tells me that I have to continue working and entertaining people,” says Varun, who is currently busy promoting his dance-based film, and shooting for Rohit Shetty’s

next with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

So, does it get difficult to manage his social life as well? “To be honest, I am not really managing it,” says the actor, adding, “I have not met too many of my friends lately; in fact, some of them I have not seen in six months. The only people I meet regularly are the ones I work with.”

On the professional front, Varun has been trying to experiment with different kinds of movies. “I don’t look at films as being big or small. I try not to repeat myself. Be it my dance film, Rohit’s project or my brother’s (Rohit Dhawan) movie — they are all different from the another. No one should regret spending money to watch my movies,” says Varun.
