‘No delay in the production of Rock On 2’, says Farhan Akhtar

Mumbai, March 30 -- Refuting the reports suggesting delay in the production of Rock on 2, Farhan Akhatar said, "I am glad that the writer of the film, Pubali has given a public statement. I completely support and stand by her so I don't want to say anything more than this. Also, people who have worked with us know the truth so that is all that is there to this story. There has been no delay in the production of Rock On 2".

The film caught in a controversy when Abhishek Kapoor, the director of Rock On, sought stay on making the film’s sequel claiming that he hasn't been given due credit for the story, which was penned by him and Pubali Chaudhuri. Hitting back at Abhishek’s move, Pubali had issued an open letter in which the writer had narrated her side of the story.
