No Entry Sequel Put On The Backburner

No Entry Sequel Put On The Backburner

Looks like fans who have been waiting for a sequel to the hit comedy flick ‘No Entry’ will have to wait longer than expected. Sources have stated that the film has been shelved because of financial issues. The movie was supposed to bring back Salman alongside Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan, and Anees Bazmee was set to direct.

Insiders have revealed that the director narrated the script to both Salman and Anil several months ago and they liked it quite a lot. But, producer Boney Kapoor and Salman have some financial issues that are preventing the project from moving forward. The insiders have also shared that this time, Celina Jaitley, Bipasha Basu and Lara Dutta will not be part of the film.

Back in 2015, everything except for Salman’s “yes” was set in place for the project, according to the producer. They were waiting for the Sultan actor to be ready but, that did not happen. This surely, comes as disappointing news for the people who loved the original ‘No Entry’.
