Not Deepika, But A Newbie Will Star Opposite Sushant Singh Rajput In The Fault In Our Stars Remake

We earlier reported that Sushant Singh Rajput has been cast in the Hindi remake of Hollywood movie The Fault In Our Stars. It was also reported that the actor will be cast opposite Deepika Padukone . Adamant to do the movie with Deepika, Sushant even slashed his fees for the film.

But, now sources have revealed something else. Sources have said that Deepika has not been approached for the movie. "It is completely made up and from the very beginning the makers are finding a new face for this character. They are looking for a fresh face opposite Sushant for this film," revealed the source. 

The sources have also denied the news that the Raabta  actor has slashed his fees. The remake of The Fault In Our Stars will be directed by Mukesh Chhabra. "Yes, I am on board for The Fault in Our Stars remake. I'm working on the script at the moment. Sushant is the leading man and we are still in the process of casting the heroine,” said Mukesh when asked about the project.

Meanwhile, Sushant has completed the first schedule of Kedarnath where he will star opposite Sara Ali Khan . He is currently in Tel Aviv, Israel shooting for the song sequence for Drive with Jacqueline Fernandez.
