    Pakistan actor Ali Zafar honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke award

    Mumbai -- In a surprise, Pakistani singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar, who is just three-film-old in Bollywood, has been announced as one of the recipients of this years Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Awards, to be distributed today. The actor, who is very excited about the award, told PTI, "I am getting Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Awards. I have flown in from Dubai to receive the award personally tomorrow. I am feeling honoured to get such a prestigious award. To receive an award of this stature is a huge achievement for me. I am thankful to the academy". The 31-year-old actor has done three small and medium budget films Tere Bin Laden, Mere Brother Ki Dulan with Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan and London Paris New York so far, of which the first was a surprise hit, while two others did not do very well at the box office.
