    Pakistan Ends Ban On Screening Of Indian Flicks, Lauded by Bollywood Top Stars

    Appreciating Pakistan’s move to remove the ban on Indian films in the country, Bollywood biggies came out in support. Celebrating with international reach, such as Anil Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra welcomed the decision over their social networking websites. The first flick to go on the silver screen after lifting the ban will be Freaky Ali, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

    “Art should go across the world. I have always believed that. So, I am glad about it,” wrote the Baywatch star. So felt the Anil, and wrote “I am very happy about it, it is a great news.” Dilwale actress Kajol also lauded the move and said, “Anything where the film industry gets a brick, where the film industry gets a positive sign etc, I am all for the film industry.”

    The stars were present at the Sansui Colors Stardust awards last night. Pakistani cinema owners explained that the decision was taken to restore the peace between to the country. However, they do admit that the economics also played its role and helped owner lower down the losses.
