Parineeti Chopra to romance with Salman Khan in Sultan

Just a day after Kangana Ranaut accepted that she has refused to sign Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’ due to schedule issues, the news reports suggest that Parineeti Chopra has been signed for the role. Seems like Kangana’s loss has turned out be Parineeti’s gain. However, there is no confirmation from the side of the makers or the actress but if the reports are true, the Ishaqzaade star will be romancing the Dabangg star in yet another Yash Raj Films production.

A source told DNA, “Parineeti is now training hard to perfect the nuances of the character and also look like a wrestler”. The source added, “Like Salman, the leading heroine is also a wrestler in the film. Sultan is not about glorifying Salman. So it was not too difficult to get Parineeti to say yes”.

Earlier, Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone were under consideration for ‘Sultan’ opposite the Kick star. Salman will be playing a 40-year-old boxer in this Ali Abbas Zafar directorial. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is playing a boxer in his upcoming Brothers and Aamir Khan is playing a boxer in Dangal. As expected, this Salman Khan movie is scheduled to release on Eid 2016.
