PeeCee to sing Dil Dhadakne Do’s title track

The popularity and eminence of Priyanka Chopra’s singing talent is well known and even applauded. While two of her international tracks ‘In my City’ and ‘Exotic’ have been widely loved, the actress has never really voiced for any of her own movie songs. Well, the wait is just about to end as you will hear the lady singing to the tunes of Dil Dhadakne Do’s title track.

It was clear that her album contract had barred her to take up any singing assignment and hence she couldn’t really be brought on board despite a lot of attempts by producers and music directors. According to the sources, Priyanka readily agreed to sing for Zoya Akhtar’s film as soon as she got the green signal from her contract makers. The sources say that she has already recorded the song which is shaping up quite well. While the shooting for the project has already been wrapped, the production patch work and post production are currently underway.

The film is all set for a June 2015 release and has a multi starcast with Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Shefali Shah playing leads besides Priyanka. The project is being produced by their very own Excel Entertainment.
