‘Perfectionist’ Priyanka brushes up her Marathi lessons

When it comes to picking out names of the females perfectionists in the country, Priyanka Chopra has to be on that list. Right from taking the gritty and challenging role of Mary Kom up her chin to performing several different shades in Saat Khoon Maaf, Priyanka likes testing her nerves as an actor. The actress is now applying the same force to master her Marathi skills to sound completely real in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani.

The film that is based at the time of Peshwas in Maharashtra of 17^th century, the film requires some hard gruelling spoken language. Priyanka reportedly, is taking a vigorous training session to master her language and sound good. Period films in India have always been very demanding at least as far as the performances are concerned. Priyanka plays the character of Kashibai, while Ranveer and Deepika play Bajirao and Mastani respectively. Film’s shooting schedule is currently underway and will only conclude by next year.
