Pooja Misrra slams a legal notice on Colors Channel

Pooja Misrra has done it again. The Bigg Boss girl known to often stir up a controversy has this time slapped a legal notice on popular GEC Colors for "plagiarizing" her cookery show on their new show Farah Ki Dawat. The model-turned-actor and entrepreneur had also alleged that her modesty was outraged during the fifth season of Bigg Boss.

A source close to the actor confirms the news saying, "Pooja sent a legal notice to Colors for having defamed her, not given video footage of her modesty being challenged on the sets of Big Boss 5 besides plagiarizing Pooja Misrra Productions' cookery show by putting on air Farah Khan ki Dawat," says the source adding that even the title sponsors are apparently the same people, who had earlier approached Pooja for sponsorsering her cookery show. "Pooja's kindness has been taken for granted for too long. It's great though that she has fearlessly spoken up," adds the source.

When contacted, Pooja, too, confirmed the development and sent us a copy of the notice as below:

    Sir,
Under the instructions and on behalf of my client Ms. Pooja Misrra, having address at Villa no.33,Florida Estate, Keshav Nagar, Mundwa- 36 Pune,I have been instructed to address you as under:-

My client states that she is by profession a well known super model, VJ and film actress and runs a production house called ‘Pooja Misrra Productions’, carrying good name, fame and reputation.
My client states that she participated in a realty show ‘Big Boss season 5’ ion your channel ,Colors. My client was maligned and mercilessly maligned on the show.Infact one morning when she woke up she had a lovebite on her collar bone,She had infact addressed this in a press conference ..

My client  requested the channel and production house for video footage of the same however there was no co operation from your end and Viacom 18 clearly tried to sweep the way my clients modesty was challenged under the carpet. When she signed the contract before entering the show she and her family were reassured of her security by the bound contract. So it surprises my client to no end that how can the channel think they can be so irresponsible and get away with it.

My client also state that her character and image was mercilessly assassinated on the show as she was wrongly interpreted to be violent on the show, when she had just nudged her co contestant Sidharth Bhardwaj. This news was amplified and wrongly carried on news channels and in papers thereby showcasing my client in a very poor light.

     http://shrieking-news.blogspot.com/2011/11/bigg-boss-5-pooja-misrra-thrown-out-of.html

My client was bedridden after her exit from the show for a fortnight when she realised how badly the  channel had misrepresented her in the media. There were no apologies or attempt from the channels end by inviting her back on the show as a guest ,instead she was banned from Big Boss altogether as though the channel was guilty as if she came back on the show she would let the cat out of the bag.

My client states that after such a defamatory and horrendous projection on Big Boss no one offered my client respectable roles in the bollywood film fraternity and going by the bad example set by Colors to make my client a sacrificial lamb, everybody followed suit and did the same to her. That this lead to severe health, professional and financial losses for my client and scarred her career for life.

My clients performance was shamlessly plaigirized and aped on the next season of Big Boss 6 by Imam Siddique thereby thereagain taking advantage of my clienta kindness and creativity. The evidence of this is available on the link below.

There was no acknowledgement of my client having done the same things first and being the original or royalty paid to her.

My client then was appointed by Times of India as a celebrity blogger to write blogs on Big Boss as she had been on the show and would have expert opinion and advise. My client wrote 36 blogs on Big Boss Season 8, and her ideas were again ungratefully lifted and incorporated on the same season of Big Boss without any acknowledgment or royalty.

Where my client suggested the make up on big boss was gawdy and the next thing we know karishma tannas make up was being penalised.

My client stated her disgust on the duplicity being projected on the show by Soni, and thenext thing we know Soni was eliminated.

My client kept a stoic and dignified silence and continued to co operate and be amicable towards Colors.

However all boundaries of professionalism and decency were crossed when Colors went ahead and plagiarised ‘Pooja Misrra Productions ‘ maiden cookery show, written, directed, produced and anchored by my client herself by putting on air ,Farah Khan ki Dawat.Even the sponsor Videocon had approached ‘Pooja Misrra Productions for sponsorship for her cookery show however was shamelessly roped in by Colors for ‘Farah Khan ki Dawat’.Now ever since the inception of Colors we have not seen a cookery show on the prime time slot, so its crystal clear that Farah Khan ki Dawat was plagiarised from ,’Pooja Misrra Productions’ cookery show which will soon be airing on a New York based food channel. My client is hurt and disappointed at this continuous no show of gratitude/acknowledgement/royalty.

This is grave misconduct on the part of the channel, therefore it is called upon you to issue a letter of Apology for the wilful acts, and acknowledge my clients contribution over the years to the channel,  within the period of seven days from the receipt of this notice, failing which my client shall have no other option, but to initiate necessary legal action against you by approaching the Hon’ble Courts of law for seeking proper remedy into the matter. Needless to say that in such circumstances, you shall be solely held liable and responsible for all the risks, as to cost and consequences, which you may please note.

    Thanking you,
    Yours truly,
    In Person
    Pooja Misrra
