Prachi Desai To Play A Rockstar In ‘Kosha’

All her films that have been made till now have featured Prachi Desai as a simple and a sweet girl. However, her next film will feature her in an avatar that she has never portrayed in any of her films. The Once Upon A Time In Mumbai actress is all set to swoon people with her charming voice in a fantasy-adventure film titled ‘Kosha’.

Clearing the confusion, let us tell you the beautiful diva will play a rockstar in the film. She will play one of the members of a rock band who is addicted to alcohol and substance abuse. The film will be produced by veteran filmmaker Raj Kanwar’s sons, Abhay and Karan.

“Karan and I wanted to make a film we believed in, something imaginative, original and not a reprint of an international DVD,” said Abhay. Apart from producing, Abhay has also written the screenplay and dialogue. The team is currently shooting the flick in Madh island. ‘Kosha’ is modern, dark, urban and twisted retelling of several classic fairy tales.

Karan is planning to take the film at several film festivals. He is also thinking of releasing it in early 2018. Prachi is currently gearing up for a forthcoming short film titled ‘Carbon’, which also features actors Nawazzudin Siddiqui and Jackky Bhagnani.
