Prayers of fans paid off, Manoj Kumar's surgery successful

The 76-year-old veteran actor underwent gall bladder surgery early Wednesday morning. And, it is being reported that the operation was successful, “The surgery went for an hour and it went off well. He is back in the room,” said Ram Narain, executive director of the hospital. The superstar was hospitalized on July 17 and will be discharged in a day or two.

The actor turned 76 yesterday only. Fans were praying on his birthday to get well soon and their wishes have worked. Kumar is in much better state now. The star actor-director has worked in patriotic films like, Purab Aur Paschim, Upkar and Kranti which gave him the tag of Bharat Kumar. We wish the actor regains his health soon.
