Each and every role that former miss world Priyanka Chopra takes up, has a story to convey. The actress who brought down all her critics to earth after a fine performance in Mary Kom, now has another challenge in hands. According to the actress, Bajirao Mastani that she’s shooting for right now is coming up as a major test for her.

"It's my first period film and it is very difficult to do a period film which narrates a story about an incident that happened about 500 years ago, with no reference. The role is tremendously hard," she said. The actress also spoke about the elements making it hard for to prepare well. The period era seems to be creating the business a little tough for her, since she hasn’t been a part of any before. "The role is probably one of the most difficult that I have done till now. It's because it is based in the era where I need to be correct in the period and the culture. The role is heart-breaking as well. It's testing me as an actor," she added.
