Priyanka Chopra caught up in the waves

Actor Priyanka Chopra, who is currently in Maldives, had a rough encounter with the sea, when she along with her family and members of her team got stuck in the middle of the sea. 

A source close to PeeCee tells us more about what exactly happened. “Priyanka got stuck in the middle of the sea with her mom, brother and her entire staff that included her stylist, business manager and bodyguard. The water was shallow due to which the speed boat got stuck in the corals,” says the source. Priyanka, along with pop icon Akon has been invited for this event by the government of Maldives to celebrate 50 years of their Independence. “This incident happened when Priyanka had just landed and was heading to the hotel. An entire team was called for to rescue them after they were stuck in the sea for ­almost an hour,” adds the source.
