Priyanka Chopra gets a last minute help from Uday Chopra

Bollywood starPriyanka Chopra, who is presently into alegal messover themysterious and unnatural death ofher assistantJiban Patra, owes it big time to her friendUday Chopra for his help. As it is known that the actress, who has a funding problem of around $15,000 to impasse over the mortal remains of her assistant, called for Uday whom she hasn’t seen sincePyaar Impossible(2010).

The30-year-old actress landed India yesterday morning. But all the credit goes to Uday for his instant help.Priyankacalled up Uday and briefed him about the incident that took place. Uday immediately came in action and assigned her his personal lawyer Arnold P. Peter.It was then only that shewas able to return to thecity after Arnold accepted her case.

Priyanka’s manager Natasha Pal assured media about themortal remainssaying, "Mr Patra's remains are expected to arrive in India this week. The process of repatriation is underway as we speak. Priyanka has spoken to the family of the deceased as well." But the Optical Society of America (OSA) seems disappointed with Priyanka’s behaviour and said, "We did not expect this kind of non-cooperation from Priyanka when we are only trying to help." The actress in an official statement to a leading daily expressed her grief over the irreparable loss.
