Priyanka Chopra launches website to support girls’ rights

A website called, the Cheer-O-Meter (www.d2c.in), has been launched by Unicef brand ambassadors Irfan Pathan and Priyanka Chopra to support adolescent girls as part of IPL team Delhi Daredevil's "Dare to Care" campaign. The campaign has been launched with an aim to reduce discrimination against women and promote education and equal opportunities for girls.

During the launch, Priyanka said, "Even today, millions of girls continue to be deprived of their right to education. Early marriage keeps lakhs of girls from completing their studies". Cricketer Irfan Pathan said: "The entire Delhi Daredevils team is appealing to all our supporters to join hands in the fight for providing equal opportunities to adolescent girls."
