Priyanka Chopra starts shooting for Gangaajal 2 in Bhopal

Priyanka Chopra has started shooting for her upcoming action film, Gangaajal 2, in Bhopal. The 32-year-old actress has given filmmakers 45 days to complete the shoot. The sequel to Gangaajal is based on highlighting the issue of gender politics. The prequel showed Ajay Devgn as the Superintendent of Police and now PeeCee will take his position, fighting against the bad characters.

The National Film Award winning actress said, "I've worked with incredible directors like Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar and Vishal Bhardwaj and now it's Prakash Jha who is not making a cop drama because it is the trend”.  The director of the film, Prakash Jha, also plays a junior officer in the flick, where he feels annoyed about the fact that he has to report to a woman police officer.

Though the beautiful actress will be seen playing a bold character, but she confessed that she equally loves her soft character in Bajirao Mastani, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She said, “It is the director's prerogative whom he wants to cast. Main apni tuhari khud nahin bajati (I don't blow my own trumpet). I know I'll enjoy playing this bold character whom I admire. I'm equally in love with the beautiful, delicate Kashibai in Bajirao Mastani who looks like a Raja Ravi Varma painting and doesn't go horse riding or sword fighting like the others”.
