Priyanka Chopra To Make Her Bollywood Production With Amrita Pritam Biopic

Actress Priyanka Chopra is one girl who has now become an inspiration for many. She has proved it that hard work does not go waste. After making a mark in Bollywood, the actress made waves in Hollywood. Her last Bollywood outing was Jai Gangaajal which did not do wonders at the box office and ever since then her fans have been eagerly waiting to see her in next Bollywood movie.

A couple of months of ago when Priyanka came to India, rumours were doing the rounds that she will star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biopic on Amrita Pritam, where she will essay the lead role of poetess Amrita Pritam. And now we have heard that apart from acting the Mary kom actress will also co-produce the movie.

Speculations were rife that Shah Rukh Khan will play the role of Amrita Pritam's love interest, poet Sahir Ludhianvi. But, now the makers are considering Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan or Irrfan Khan for the role. Interestingly, Priyanka has worked with all these three actors in the past.

Well, if it is confirmed then it will be her first Bollywood production. She has been lately focusing on producing regional movies. The 34-year-old was recently conferred with the National Award for her Marathi production 'Ventilator'.
