Priyanka Chopra To Star In Two Astronaut Biopics?

Priyanka Chopra may be making waves in Hollywood, but she has not been seen in any Bollywood film post Jai Gangaajal which released last year. Whenever she visits India, her fans become happy assuming that she would sign a Hindi film. A couple of days back, when the actress came to India there was a buzz that she has signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Gustakhiyan.

However, the news of her opting out of the movie again disheartened her fans. And now it has come to light that Priyanka has signed two Bollywood biopics. If reports are to be trusted, the first film would be a biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma which would also star Aamir Khan , while the second would be a biopic on American-Indian astronaut Kalpana Chawla.

Kalpana Chawla biopic has been in talks for quite some time. Priyanka’s name has always been associated with the film since the beginning, however no official announcement has been made. Rumours are doing rounds that Piggy Chops might produce the flick. “Priyanka met the makers and has asked them to start the pre-production work on the film. This will be the first film to go on floors right after Quantico if all goes well,” revealed a source.

As far as Rakesh Sharma’s biopic is considered, a source revealed, “Well, there was some interest from her side. Because she hasn’t ever worked with Aamir Khan.”

The Mary Kom actress is currently in Rome shooting for the third season of her popular ABC show Quantico.
