Priyanka recommends Parineeti’s name for Sultan

Recently, a teaser of Director Ali Abbas Zafar's movie 'Sultan' created a buzz in the tinsel town. Reportedly, Priyanka Chopra was offered the role opposite Salman Khan. But, the Barfi-star declined the role and suggested her cousin Parineeti’s name for the flick. Parineeti made her debut in Bollywood as an actress in supporting role in Yash Raj banner’s romantic comedy Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. Her performance in the film earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Femal Debut.

If sources are to be believed, then filmmakers of Sultan are sceptical about casting the Ishaqzaade actress in the film. If Parineeti is casted for the role then she will be playing the role of a boxer in the film. This movie might help in relieving Parineeti's career in B-town.

The movie is scheduled to release on Eid, next year. Dabang star will be playing a 40-year-old boxer in the film. Yash Raj Films haven't made any official announcements confirming the lead actress for the role yet.
