Allah-Rakha Rahman aka A.R. Rahman is known for the musical master pieces that he has created over the years. The singer-musician has given tunes in many of Indian movies like Bombay, Lagaan, Swades and in many more flicks from North to South. But it has never been awards or money that makes the pioneer happy. For Rahman, it is all about music only and nothing else.

Rahman said, “I don't need the money or the awards. I don't need the world. Music, even after so many years, brings me such joy, matched only by the satisfaction of a chef who has just laid his signature dish on the table.” He has also expressed his wish for his songs to be shot in a better way than to be just played in the backdrop. The composer further quoted, “Many times, I have given music for a film and it has been used only in the background. I wanted my songs to be picturised in a manner that only Yashji was capable of.”
