Raabta In Legal Trouble, Magadheera Makers To Go To Court Against Its Release

Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starring Raabta is grabbing all the headlines these days. Firstly, it was for their sizzling chemistry that they share in the flick, and now the movie is in the news for all the wrong reasons. In a shocking move, makers of SS Rajamouli’s Magadheera are heading to the court against release of Raabta.

The makers feel that Raabta’s plot is same as Magadheera and this might be a case of plagiarism. The news was confirmed by trade analyst Ramesh Balam who tweeted, “BREAKING: #Maghadheera film makers go to court against #Raabta.. Seek an injunction against the film’s release.. Story plagiarism charge”. The Hyderabad court issued notice and posted the matter to June 1 to decide if Raabta should be permitted to release on June 9.

Magadheera had the similar tale of a love story and incarnation starring Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal. Well, seems like we have to wait for June 1 to know the fate of Raabta. Raabta also features Rajkummar Rao.
