Rajesh Khanna has been the “greatest actor” ever, Dimple Kapadia feels

Bollywood’s yesteryear superstar Rajesh Khanna was a heart winner of his time undoubtedly but his estranged wife actress Dimple Kapadia feels a little more about him. She thinks that Rajesh is the "greatest actor" ever.

As told by Dimple in a statement, "If there has to be one favourite actor of mine, it has to be Rajesh Khanna. He was in fact the greatest actor alive.” Rajesh Khanna, popularly known as Kaka in the industry, started his journey with Aakhri Khat in 1966. Through his five decades in the film industry he has delivered blockbusters like Aradhana, Do Raaste, Safar and Anand.

Between 1969 and 1975, his talent was acknowledged at its best and he gathered a huge fan following, thanks to his films like Aradhana and Prem Kahani. In July 2012 Rajesh Khanna breathed his last at the age of 69 after suffering from a prolonged illness. Rajesh Khanna had his estranged wife Dimple by his side till the last moment and earlier this year the veteran actress also urged Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajeev Shukla to name a road after the late Bollywood superstar. Presently the 56-year-old actress is busy promoting her upcoming film What The Fish which is slated to release on December 13.
