Rajkummar Rao To Gain 10 Kilos For Web Series ‘Bose’

Everyone knows that Rajkummar Rao will be essaying the role of Indian leader Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose for the upcoming web series ‘Bose’ directed by Hansal Mehta. The actor is doing his every bit to bring authenticity to the character. The 32-year-old is learning Bengali and even gaining weight for his role.

"I am doing a lot of prep work for the film. I am reading a lot of books and watching videos. There is a lot of material in the script that is available to us. I am learning Bengali for it and gaining weight... I am gaining around eight to 10 kilos," said Rajkummar.

The actor does not believe in prosthetics and make up. To get close to the look, he is trying to do as much as he can. He has even gone bald to resemble the late freedom fighter. He shared the picture of his new haircut on his Twitter account. "Got a hair cut done for #Bose. We'll soon put out the first look as Bose. Until then, these are the post hair cut pictures. Thank you @AalimHakim (sic),” he posted.

The series will show Bose’s journey from his childhood days to his growing up years. Apart from the Shahid actor, the web series will also feature his CityLights co-star Patralekhaa.
