Rajshri Productions rubbishes rumours of Hum Aapke Hain Koun 2

Rajshri Productions has denied the rumours stating that Ranbir Kapoor will star in the sequel of the classic film Hum Aapke Hain Koun. P K Gupta, General Manager of Rajshri Productions said, “As of now there are no such plans of making a sequel of Hum Aapke Hain Koun. There is nothing like that happening. These are just rumours”.

The rumours suggested that the sequel will show the story after Prem and Nisha gets married. Also, it was said that Salman Khan, who played the lead in the prequel, will be replaced by the Rockstar. Denying the rumours, P K Gupta, has said that the team is currently busy with their upcoming project Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has the Kick star in lead, who will be playing double role in the flick. Gupta further said, “Almost 80 per cent of the shoot is over. Some scenes and a song sequence are pending. We are hopeful that the shoot will be over in two months”. The film is directed by Sooraj Barjatya. The duo has worked together in 1999 for Hum Saath Saath Hain.
