Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Fanney Khan’ Will Star Priyanka Chopra?

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is an ace filmmaker. He has delivered some candid hits like ‘Rang De Basanti’ and ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’. In a career spanning over three decades, Mehra never got a chance to work with Anil Kapoor. However, he has roped in the 59-year-old actor for his next, ‘Fanney Khan’. This is for the first time that Anil will be seen under Mehra’s direction.

As per the recent updates, the multifaceted lady, Priyanka Chopra, has also been approached by the 53-year-old director for ‘Fanney Khan’. According to Box Office India, “It seems he (Mehra) wants Chopra on board. The actress is thought to have heard a narration and loved the script but hasn’t yet formally given her nod.”

Priyanka has yet not signed the film. Once it is done, the makers of this project will officially announce her inclusion in the team. Reportedly, Anil will play the titular character of a father to a struggling singer. Moreover, Anil will portray a Muslim man in this film.
