    Ram Leela’s cast and director under legal trouble

    An upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Ram Leela has created frenzy right from its trailer release. A court ordered police to register a case against filmmaker Bhansali, and film’s lead pair Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for hurting religious sentiments of people through their flick.

    The court passed this order after advocate Pawan Sharma filed a complaint to the additional chief metropolitan magistrate. The advocate commented, "In the complaint, we have stated that going by the promo, the movie `Ram Leela`, which is slated for release Nov 15, is promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion." He also added, "The court has directed the police to investigate the complainant."

    A first information report (FIR) will be filed in Shyam Nagar police station as commanded by the court. Ram Leela is a forthcoming romantic drama, said to be an adaptation of Shakespeare's epic love story Romeo and Juliet. The film scheduled to release on November 15, is a joint production of Kishore Lulla and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
