Ranbir Kapoor’s superhero project with Ayan Mukerji to go on floors in Feb 2016

The long awaited superhero project that Ayan Mukerji will helm with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the frame, has finally got a schedule. After constant delays and slow development, the film is finally getting some shape and is apparently going on floors in February next year.

As Ranbir has figured out his schedule for the year ahead, Ayan has got a clear picture in front to bring the film on floors. Ranbir is currently shooting for Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos and Imitiaz Ali’s Tamasha. A source close to the development told Mirror, "Once Bombay Velvet is out of the way, Ranbir will finish Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos and Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha in two schedules as both are expected to hit the theatres this year. When he recently met with his team to chart out his plan for 2016, Ayan's film was the first to get a slot as RK is really excited about playing a caped crusader.”

Different reports have also revealed that Ranbir is closely involved with this project and is helping Ayan on every step. The source also added that the film is being planned as a trilogy. Ranbir apparently will first start shooting for Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil before going ahead with this one.
