Rani may again unite with Mardaani director Pradeep Sarkar for his next

After scoring a much needed success with Mardaani earlier this year, filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar is busy scripting his next film. The film is being said to be an inspiration from his own life and the filmmaker is looking to cast Rani Mukerji for the lead role again.

While the two have worked together in Mardaani and Laga Chunari Mein Daag before that, the next film by the director may make it a hat-trick. A source close to the director revealed, “Pradeep is currently writing a script which is inspired by his real life incidents. However, he is in no hurry to start his next film as he wants to give enough time to this script. After a long time he has enjoyed success with Mardaani and he wants to go slow with his next project.” While nothing seems to have come sure so far, we’ll wait until some further process takes shape.
