Rani Mukerji to play journalist in Bombay Talkies

The Filmfare Award winning actress Rani Mukerji was a delight to watch as a journalist inNo One Killed Jessica. Now, the headstrong journalist is all set to repeat her role once again in Karan Johar’s upcoming filmBombay Talkies. Rani, who has teamed up with Karan after six years, will be seen with Randeep Hooda in the film as a married couple.

The film’s official spokesperson confirmed, "Rani will be essaying the role of a journalist in the film. Rani was briefed on her character nuances by Karan Johar and, having played a journo earlier, she effortlessly got into her character.”

It will be a first for Rani and Randeep to share the screen space together.Bombay Talkies, which is slated to release on May 3, 2013, will observe 100 years completion of Indian cinema.
