Ranveer back on sets of Bajirao Mastani, post surgery

Ranveer Singh is back on the sets shooting for Bajirao Mastani right after surgery. The 29-year-old actor underwent surgery on his shoulder on April 4. The Dil Dhadakne Do star injured his shoulder after he fell off a horse while filming for Sanjay Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani in Jaipur.

"I was extremely nervous when I drove down to the shoot. I had not faced the camera in two-and-a-half months and I was having a near meltdown", he told Mumbai Mirror. "As I always do in times like these, I called up my father", he added.

"He assured me I'd be just fine. I heard him out, reached the set, put on my costume and I immediately felt like the great Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao. After that I went out there and nailed it", said Ranveer. The actor is still undergoing physiotherapy to recover completely. He returned to sets of the film for shooting some intense action scenes on Wednesday. Ranveer also said that director Sanjay Bhansali was impressed with the shots he gave.
