Ranveer Singh admits being close to Deepika Padukone

A lot has been written about the speculated romantic connection between Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela co-stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone who share one of the hottest chemistries in the B-town, both on-screen and off-screen. But both Deepika and Ranveer maintain that they are single.

In a conversation with a leading tabloid Ranveer confessed that he grew closer to Deepika when they were shooting for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. He said, "I can't stop people from jumping to conclusions. We grew close on a personal level during the filming of Ram Leela and I look forward to working with her in Bajirao Mastani.” When asked what his present relationship status is, the fun-loving actor said, "I am very much single." The couple has quite efficiently maintained the “good-friend” tag so far. However, luck seems to be in favour of the Ram-Leela team as the Allahabad High Court has reportedly stayed the arrest of Bhansali, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika and Ranveer in connection with a case which was lodged against them for allegedly hurting the religious Hindu sentiments through the movie.
