It was the biggie in the film industry, Aditya Chopra, who provided a huge break to Bollywood’s latest heartthrob Ranveer Singh with Band Baaja Baaraat. But, according to the emerging superstar of the industry, the producer-filmmaker has never said a single nice thing to him; rather he keeps scolding the young dashing talent.

Ranveer has worked in three Yash Raj Films’ projects so far including Band Baaja Baaraat, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and his forthcoming Gunday. The hot guy said in a conversation, "I feel lucky and fortunate to be working for Aditya. He is a great guy. But he has never said good things to me. He just scolds me. He just says good job and not more than that.” The actor also talked about his angry young character, Bikram, in Gunday, "I don't know if my character is similar or inspired by anyone. Somebody who works closely with YRF said to me that he gets a vibe of young Mr Amitabh Bachchan by looking at me in 'Gunday'. It is a huge compliment.”

"Mr Bachchan is more than the reason for me to become an actor. I wanted to become actor because I used to watch Hindi films and was inspired by him. The cast and crew of the film were all youngsters so the atmosphere was energetic," he added. He also recalled one of his best moments ever when megastar Amitabh Bachchan sent him a hand-written note praising him for his acting prowess following Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. Ranveer said, "He is an icon of the country. For him to write beautiful things about my work and send bouquet of flowers was extraordinary. My mom felt proud while presenting this note to me and I got emotional.” Following Gunday’s release on February 14, Ranveer’s upcoming projects include Finding Fanny Fernandes and Kill Dil.
