Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone jointly observe roza on Ram Leela sets

Co-stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are known to be quite friendly to their crew members on the sets of their films and recently one of their gestures proved their kind hearts towards their off-screen fellows once again. Recently it has been heard that the two actors along with their director Sanjay Leela Bhansali observed roza for one whole day on the sets of their upcoming film, Ram Leela.

A close source said, “Many members of the cast and crew were fasting as it’s the period of Ramadan. So for one day, even the lead pair along with Bhansali decided to fast.” The source also said that it has been a ritual for the entire film unit to sit together for iftari (breaking of fast at sundown) but this time the threesome also joined them. The source revealed more, “They all took a long break, chatted for a while and resumed shooting afterwards. Since they’ve all been working together for so long now, they’ve formed a really close bond. The team has been working on tight schedules and fixed deadlines and this get-together was a refreshing break for everyone.”
