Raveena Tandon, the quintessential ’90s diva, has not lost her charm and grace. The actress will be seen playing a Jazz singer in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet.  The actress is looking mesmerizing in a quirky headgear and royal costume. Slated for release on May 15, Bombay Velvet also features Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in the lead roles.

Though, the actress was missing from the trailer of the film but she has a pivotal role in the movie. The diva’s look in the upcoming project is designed by Swapnil Shinde who is behind creating Katrina Kaif’s look in the Bang Bang title track. Anushka’s Jazz look is also designed by the designer.

Bombay Velvet - inspired by Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables - explores Mumbai in the early 1950s and 1960s. Anushka plays the role of Rosie Noronha and she is also the love interest of Johnny Balraj aka Ranbir Kapoor.  Kaizad Khambata will be played by Karan Johar who is also making his acting debut with this film.
