I don't think we should be expecting life or others to be fair towards us. No one owes us anything. It all depends on the choices we make in life." She has also talked about her upcoming film where she would be seen with her father Mukul Sharma, "Vishal (Bhardawaj) and dad had met and become friends and they decided to make a film.” She went on, "But that didn't work out then. It has worked out now... Vishal has been inspired by dad's work and he has added his own inputs."

I don't think I am answerable to anyone. Let the speculations be." Talking about motherhood and her 2-year-old son Haroun, she laughed, "I have become far more patient and mellowed down.” She stated more humorously, "Staying awake in the nights, I guess, changes the personality of the mother. But sometimes, I forget that he is a small child and feel like he's an old soul. I put my head against his chest and feel like he's this old person whom I have known forever."
