    Veteran actor Reema Lagoo’s sudden death has left everyone shocked. The actor, 59, died today morning after suffering a cardiac arrest. In her career spanning almost four decades, Reema had worked with several leading names from the film industry. One of her most memorable roles was in the 1994 film Huma Aapke Hain Koun...!! where she played the role of a mother to actors Madhuri Dixit and Renuka Shahne.

    Remembering Reema, Renuka took to Facebook and shared an emotional post for the actor along with some beautiful black and white pictures, which she clicked while they were shooting together for a film.

    In her post, 51-year-old Renuka has shared memories of meeting Reema for the first time and the kind of bond she shared with the senior actor. In the ode, Renuka also recalls how Reema would be protective about her and take care of her like a close friend.

    Reema, who has acted in several Bollywood and Marathi films, was mostly known for her motherly roles in films and her characters in comedy television shows such as Tu Tu - Main Main and Shriman Shrimati.

    She reportedly complained of chest pain at 1am on Wednesday night, and was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai. She passed away at 3.15 am after a cardiac arrest.
