Riteish banks on Kapil’s loss, bags Bank Chor

While it hasn’t been long since Kapil Sharma’s exit from YRF’s Bank Chor made the town talking, actor Riteish Deshmukh has been roped in to replace him. The actor would now be playing the lead in this one.

Riteish who’s had a tremendous Box-office run lately has perhaps caught the maker’s attention owing to his growing popularity and comic appeal. Interestingly Kapil who finds Riteish very friendly and cool has been replaced by the friendly actor himself. The comic actor has made quite a few appearances in Kapil’s comedy show where both of them looked getting along quite well. Let’s wait to find out whose loss and whose gain it really has been.

Even YRF who want their production Y-films to set up a strong base have banked on an actor who already has a large appeal and could really be relied on. Talking about this Ashish Patil, the Business & Creative Head, Youth Films, Brand Partnerships & Talent Management at Yash Raj Films said, "Riteish is one of the most exciting actors of today. From villainy to action in his upcoming 'Lai Bhaari', there's nothing he can't do! And with Bank Chor, Riteish is in a zone that's a serious strength - comedy! He adds the scale, madness and weight that this project deserves. The audiences are in for one helluva ride now!" Further confirming the news Riteish stated "Loved the script. Loved the character. Loved the team. I've always liked to push the envelope with the choices I make. This film allows me to potentially rip it apart. Watch out there's a new Bank-Chor in town!" Bank Chor is a story of three idiots trying to rob a bank and mess things up. The makers have decided to put the film on floors right away and release it in early 2015.
