Riteish Deshmukh sells his Pali Hill bungalow to businessman

Riteish Deshmukh has recently sold his great bungalow in Pali Hill to a businessman. The Ek Villain actor had bought the property from the family of veteran actor Amjad Khan, about eight years ago. Rumours suggest that the actor bought it with the intention to use it for commercial purpose.

The actor however could not convince the residents and the BMC, and hence decided to sell the property. Madhu Poplai, the secretary of the Pali Hill Residents' Association, confirmed, “This iconic structure earlier belonged to the late actor Amjad Khan and then was sold to Riteish Deshmukh. Riteish wanted to start some commercial activity in the bungalow but was not allowed to do so. So he has now sold it to a businessman”.

Riteish's spokesperson however has something different to say. He said, "Riteish purchased the property as an investment and later diluted it. He never intended to use it for a commercial venture”. The property has been sold to Taifique Gazinia, who deals in leather goods. He had stated that he had purchased the property just for residential purpose and will move into it with family, once the renovation work is completed.
