Sabyasachi Mukherjee leaves Ram Leela over creative differences with Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Sabyasachi Mukherjee has walked out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali'sRam Leelaas the film and music director failed to timely zero down on his Gujarati Juliet and accommodate the fashion designer’s inputs.

Sabyasachi (39) who had worked with Bhansali (50) inBlack(2005) andGuzaarish(2010) told, “There was no clarity on the lead heroine and the shooting schedule kept changing. There came a point when the dates clashed with my Taj project in London. I am designing an uber-luxury Cinema Suite for the property. It was either this or that, and for me the Cinema Suite was priority.” “Bhansali had a very well-defined idea of how his Gujarati Juliet would look like and he was not willing to take inputs. This did not go down well with Sabya, who is used to generous creative spaces,” said a source close to the director.
