On one side Saif Ali Khan said that he wouldn’t mind playing a gangster on big screen and on the other side the Phantom star does not think that he is fit to essay the role of mobster Haji Mastan. The race actor rather wants to portray “classy gangster” characters, who speak ‘tapori’ language and are sometimes sophisticated. Saif further said that he wants to play different types of roles in his future films.

“Haji Mastan is a superb character… It is a very deadly character. But I can’t do the role of Haji Mastan bhai. That is something Ajay Devgn can do”, Saif told IANS. Ajay has played the role of Haji, who is popularly known as Sultan Mirza, in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.

The Omkara star added, “I’d love to be a classy gangster. It would be an interesting character to do such… I’ll have to do something different since people have already done this genre so many times”.
