Salish Singh taking the movie to international markets due to Irrfan’s presence.

Irrfan seems to have become a popular face in Indian and international film markets. After seeing the kind of response the actor’s last two releases — The Lunchbox (2013) and Piku — have received, the makers of his next are looking at releasing the film in international markets as well.

Producer Salish Singh is apparently confident about taking the movie to international markets due to Irrfan’s presence. “His last two films were received well internationally. Irrfan was one of the driving characters in both the films. This is the reason that has encouraged me to release my film in foreign countries,” says Singh.

The film, directed by Nishikant Kamath, is slated to release in a couple of months. “I am in touch with a few international distributors. We are looking at releasing our film in conventional as well as non-traditional international markets like Ireland and Poland,” adds Singh.
