Salman Khan has apparently decided not to start work on any new projects till May 6

Salman Khan is a top draw at the box office, so it’s no surprise that he always has a number of film offers lined up. But even as the two projects he has in hand — Bajrangi Bhaijaan (BB) and Sooraj Barjatya’s next — near completion, there is no news regarding what he will work on next.

“Right now, Salman’s entire focus is on the completion of these two films. He hasn’t green-lighted other offers or given his dates to anyone,” says an insider. If trade buzz is to be believed, the actor wants to wait till May 6, when the verdict in a hit and run case involving him is delivered.

Presently, he is in Kashmir to wrap up the final schedule of BB, which is also his home production, Salman’s current list of commitments includes Anees Bazmee’s sequel to No Entry (2005), Aanand L Rai’s rumoured next, and three other films produced by Karan Johar, Mahesh Manjrekar and Aditya Chopra.

In fact, in a similar vein, Salman was reportedly approached by a delegation of leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir, who requested him to help promote tourism in the state. The actor apparently turned down the offer saying he won’t take up any new project till the verdict in the case is out.
