    Salman Khan Hit-And-Run Case: Plea Seeking Cancellation of Bail Dismissed

    The Supreme Court on Monday has dismissed a plea seeking cancellation of bail in Salman Khan’s hit-and-run case. The mother of a deceased Mumbai police constable filed the plea seeking cancellation of bail granted to the Kick actor. Besides this, the plea also sought transfer of case from Mumbai to Delhi.

    Also, the Bombay High Court has dismissed Salman’s plea seeking bail. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s lawyer sought adjournment of the case till August 3, but the plea was dismissed by Justice AR Joshi. The Court will hear the appeal against 5-year jail term from July 30. Reportedly, Salman was not present in the court today, however, his sister Alvira was there.

    On May 6, the Bodyguard was convicted of 5-year jail term on several counts, which include culpable homicide not amounting to murder. On May 8, High Court suspended the term, granting him bail. Now the hearing is supposed to take place on July 30.
