Salman Khan to sing for Hero

After ‘Hangover’ from Kick, Salman Khan will sing for his own upcoming production Hero, which is also Sooraj Pancholi’s debut film. The Dabangg star will croon two songs in the movie. “One of the songs that Salman is singing is composed by Amaal Mallik. Purely a love song, Main Hoon Hero Tera, it was recently re-recorded by him. He is also expected to sing another song, which has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya”, told a crew member to TOI.

Talking about the song, Amaal Mallik said, "I didn't want to do another dance number. With this song, I've tried to experiment with Salman's voice. From the perspective of singing style, Hangover was more in his space. It was full of the typical Salman Khan vibe. But this one is an out-and-out romantic track, which is unusual for him to sing”.

The rumour of Himesh Reshammiya composing the other song was doing the rounds, but the music director recently rubbished it. He told DNA, “Actually, Salman bhai makes a bank of his own songs and he likes doing that. He will be the one who will decide where it has to go. It could go in one of his films or even release individually”.
