One of the most loved Hindi films made in the cinematic history, Rajshri’s Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! completes 20 years today. On 5th August 1994 when HAHK released, it became a cinematic dream in no time.

Sooraj Barjatya’s second directorial venture Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!, has over the years lived in a million Indian hearts. The film went on to become a huge blockbuster and was the first Indian film to earn over 1 billion. It redefined the traditional norms of Family genre in Hindi movies. Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit became overnight heartthrob for millions.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! had prominent awards like Best Film, Best Actress and Best Directors at the Filmfare awards. It also won the national award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. 20 long years but Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! is as fresh as any memory one could have.
