Sanjay Dutt shot his part for P.K. before going to jail, says Rajkumar Hirani

Actor Sanjay Dutt went to serve the jail term in May last year for his involvement in 1993 Bombay bomb blast case. The reports state that before being put behind the bars, Dutt completed the filming of his part in P.K. (Peekay). Director Rajkumar Hirani quoted, “He has already shot for his portions before he went (to jail).”

P.K. will feature Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Sanjay Dutt in the key roles. The film was earlier slated to release in June, but now has been pushed for Christmas release. Hirani said, “There is no particular reason for the delay in release. We wanted to release the film in June. But then Christmas seemed apt time. It is festive time and more people tend to watch films during this (festive) period. Also, most of Aamir’s films hit the theatres during Christmas and they have done well.”
