    Mumbai, March 6 -- A local court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of filmmaker Sanjay Gupta against whom a case was lodged for sending out invites for an event of his upcoming film Shootout at Wadala on a letterhead resembling that of the Mumbai police chief. According to police, "Gupta's anticipatory bail plea has been rejected by the sessions court on Monday. We had opposed the plea as his explanation for the same was not satisfactory.Senior Police Inspector Nandkumar Mehtar of northwest Mumbai's Versova Police Station where a first information report (FIR) against Gupta was registered added that during the interrogation on Sunday for two hours Gupta did not cooperate with them.He kept misleading us," Mehtar said.The gangster saga stars Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Tusshar Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles.
