Sanju Baba applies for furlough extension, wow what a shocker!

Now who didn’t see this one coming? Released on a 14 day furlough out of Pune’s Yerwada jail, Sanjay Dutt has applied for a further release seeking more time to be out with his family. He was released on furlough around Christmas and has been spending time with his family besides attending the screening of his film PK.

While the actor is currently serving the remaining time of his five year long sentence, the frequent paroles and furlough have come under the scanner. Sanjay has in fact been out on more than 100 days from May 2013. While he had earlier filed a request citing wife’s illness, the reasons for his release this time have mostly been personal. Expectedly so, he has filed for an extension so he could have some more time out with friends and family. He was recently seen talking to reporters at the special screening of PK. Let’s now see if the leniency showed to the actor in terms of frequent furloughs is looked into or has he bought himself some more time out?
